Lisa Plumridge (34) is a well-travelled, multilingual editor with a thorough understanding of travel content creation and management. At wcities, she was Managing Editor Europe, Middle East & Africa. In this role, she managed a team of five country editors and over 100 freelance contributors and translators.

As one of the first editors to join the company, she was instrumental in building the vast database of 250,000 individual records on over 300 cities and in designing the processes and procedures used by the company.

Lisa read German, European studies and Spanish at the University of Surrey. She has lived and worked in Germany, Austria, Spain and Australia and has travelled extensively in Europe, North America and the Far East. Lisa now lives in classy West Hampstead (formerly known as dicey East Kilburn) in North London and is the proud owner of a 1979 Alfa Spider.
